GUARDMAN® Seat Away Alarm Kit (GMK-L400) is a DIY device that immediately alerts caregivers when a senior with dementia/Alzheimer’s disease leaves their seat or presses the call bell.
The GUARDMAN® Seating Alarm Kit is very easy to set up, and you can add other sensors/transmitters to expand the system. The product uses SUB-1G radio frequency frequency, and the wireless transmission distance can reach 300 meters / 1,000 feet (straight line distance)

Wireless monitoring alarm
- When the user leaves the chair, the seat sensor pad will be triggered to send out a signal. The transmitter will immediately sound and flash an alarm and transmit it to the receiver through a wireless signal.
- Users can also expand it into a wireless emergency call system by pressing the call button.

- 3 operating modes of the sensor pad – floor mat mode/panty pad mode/+3 seconds delay
- Mat Mode: Triggers alarm when pressure is on (someone steps on the mat)
- Pad mode: Trigger alarm when there is no pressure (leaving the induction pad)
- 3 second delay: trigger the alarm when there is no pressure, but delay it for 3 seconds to reduce false alarms
